Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
These terms govern your use of Iris Builds' services. By engaging us for a project, you agree to the following. We've kept this readable on purpose.
What We Do
Iris Builds provides web development, AI automation, content management, and social media services for businesses. The specific scope of work for your project will be outlined in a project proposal or agreement before we begin.
Intellectual Property
You own your website, your content, and your brand materials. When we build something for you, the final deliverables belong to you.
We retain rights to our internal tools, processes, frameworks, and any reusable components that aren't specific to your project. We may also showcase the work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise.
Content Publishing
When authorized by you, we may publish content on your behalf via API integrations with platforms like TikTok, X (Twitter), and other social media services. We only publish content that you have reviewed and approved. You can revoke publishing authorization at any time.
Automated Systems
We use AI-assisted tools for development, content creation, and publishing workflows. These tools help us work faster and more efficiently. All AI-generated output is reviewed by our team before delivery or publication. We're transparent about our use of automation because we think it's the right way to operate.
Payment Terms
Pricing is project-based and agreed upon before work begins. For custom work, we require 50% upfront with the remaining balance due upon completion. Specific payment terms will be outlined in your project proposal.
Limitation of Liability
Iris Builds provides services on an "as-is" basis. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or data loss, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Termination
Either party can end a project engagement with 30 days written notice. If you terminate a project, payment for completed work is still due. If we terminate, we'll deliver all completed work and any assets created up to that point.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page. For active clients, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.
